HOLLY ANDRES
The Fall of Spring Hill
In The Fall of Spring Hill, mothers prepare lunch at summer church camp while their young children play on a dilapidated structure near the woods outside. The comforts and implied safety of the mothers' care—Jello salad, cupcakes and orange slices—are threatened by the outside world when one of the children is injured. The women's response is swift, decisive and fierce. Their axes are sharp.
