Call for Art - 2024 Holiday Show

Radius Gallery is currently accepting entries for its 11th Annual Holiday Show, which will take place Nov 1 - Dec 28, 2024. Note, this is not a holiday-themed show; artwork of all genres and media will be considered. The show is designed to appeal to gift buyers and collectors alike. Salability is important, but not at the expense of quality or creativity.

We anticipate a large number of submissions for this year’s exhibition, and gallery space is limited. It’s likely we’ll be able to accept no more than 25% of submitted artworks.


Open to artists of all ages in the United States and Canada. Artists may submit only their own original artworks.

Number of Entries

Each artist may submit up to 5 artworks. Radius Gallery may choose to accept some, none or all of an artist’s entries.

Media / Preparation

The exhibition is open to all media.

2-Dimensional works must be framed (when applicable) and ready to hang (wire, D-rings or cleat). Works on paper should have glazing (glass or Plexiglass) or some other protectant.

3-Dimensional works must be stable and able to stand freely or safely hang. Functional ceramics intended for food use such as cups, bowls, etc. must be food safe.


Artists may submit work of any price range, but keep in mind that we intend to promote the show as one featuring high-quality affordable art, and that one of our acceptance criteria is salability.

Digital Images

Digital images must be in JPG or PNG format, with the longest dimension not less than 1200 pixels and not exceeding 1800 pixels.

Artists may submit up to three images of each artwork. If the artwork is framed, please include at least one image that shows the frame.

Artwork file names must include: artist’s last name_artwork number_image number. For example, suppose the artist’s last name is Smith and she is submitting two artworks. She has three images of the first, and two images of the second. The file names of the images should be as follows:






If image file names do not adhere to this convention, your application might not be considered.

Images should represent the actual artwork as closely as possible. If an artwork is selected for the show, and upon arrival in the gallery it deviates significantly and unfortunately from the image used to select it (in terms of color, shape, construction, etc.), Radius Gallery reserves the right not to exhibit the artwork.

Artists whose works are selected for the show grant Radius Gallery the right to use submitted images on printed materials and the gallery’s web and social media sites for promotional purposes only. Radius Gallery retains no copyrights to artists' works.

Entry Fee

$10 (non-refundable) to submit 1-3 entries

$15 (non-refundable) to submit 4-5 entries


Accepted work must be delivered to the gallery between October 1 - October 12. Upon acceptance, artists will receive  detailed instructions re. scheduling delivery.

Artists are responsible for postage to the gallery and return postage for unsold artwork after the exhibit’s end.

Following the close of the exhibition, participating artists will be contacted by gallery staff to arrange pickup/return of unsold artwork sometime in the first two weeks of January.


Artwork accepted for the exhibit must be for sale. Artists are expected to set the retail prices of their submitted works.

If an artwork is sold, the artist will be paid 50% of the artwork’s retail price. Payments will be issued within two weeks of the show’s closing.


During the exhibition, artwork will be insured by Radius Gallery against all physical loss or damage from any external cause. Insurance is limited to the wholesale value at the time of loss. If damage occurs and the piece can be repaired, liability will be limited to the cost of such repair.


Submission of work constitutes an agreement to the conditions set forth and acceptance that the decisions of the gallery are final. Artists may not withdraw accepted entries before the close of the exhibition. Radius Gallery is not responsible for refunding entry fees or allowing artists to change submission information for artworks which do not meet above rules.
