Employing ancient techniques, LeAnn Boyd creates fresco paintings that usher a sense of antiquity into our modern spaces. Says Boyd, “I am inspired by color, the sensation of color, and memory. I live in Montana, and the beauty of the natural world is ingrained in my memory, like the color embedded in the plaster. Landscapes and frescoes naturally summon this intimate union of present with past.”

Boyd studied painting at the University of Montana and has worked as a painter/muralist in MIssoula for 17 years, specializing in fresco. Her paintings have been exhibited throughout the West and commissioned by collectors nationally and internationally.
